To decrease the risk of heart disease, it is essential for individuals with sleep disorders to seek treatment to enhance their sleep quality. Treatment could involve lifestyle modifications such as exercise, weight loss, and avoiding caffeine and alcohol, as well as medical interventions, including the usage of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines for sleep apnea. By managing sleep disorders, people can lower their chances of developing heart disease, thus enhancing their overall well-being.
